SEVEN BY ANTHONY BRUNO

"Seven" is a detective story. It is a novel of intrigue and a thriller. In this book, two detectives go in search of a serial murderer. This man commited his crimes based on the Seven Deadly Sins. The murderer was very clever and intelligent and he was able to deceive and play with the detectives until he fulfilled the seven Deadly Sins.
My favourite character was Somerset. He had worked as a homicide detective for twenty-three years. He hated the city and he couldn´t leave it and forget the crimes he had seen and live quietly in the country. Somerset was astute/SHREWD and very peaceful despite (?) his hard work and he never shot anyone during his investigations.
In the last chapter, a messenger had to deliver a package at seven o´clock in the middle of the dessert. When he arrived at two minutes past seven, Somerset stopped him because he thought that he could be a threat and he fired his gun into the air. The messenger stopped. He was frightened and he thought: “I´m a little late, but…”
